What are the benefits of using an Integrative Psychotherapy approach?
An integrative approach means using the best techniques from different therapeutic modalities to ensure you get the treatment you need. Conversely, a single approach can be very limiting as you progress through therapy. As a result, the use of multiple approaches allows for a faster and more thorough end resolution to your problems.
Length and frequency of Psychotherapy and Counselling
All sessions are 50 minutes long. Due to the unique personal nature of this treatment, the frequency of therapy depends on the depth of your problem.

Counselling and Psychotherapy - the way forward
Having an initial consultation session would be the best way forward. An initial psychotherapy consultation is 60 minutes long. It involves obtaining information about your condition, history, an explanation of the treatment modalities. Furthermore, you will get to experience the initial therapeutic benefits immediately.

What are the differences between Psychotherapy and Counselling?
The difference lies in the length and depth of training involved. While both are qualified, BACP registered psychotherapists undergo more extensive in-depth training than that undertaken by counsellors.
What happens in the Psychotherapy and Counselling session?
In the psychotherapy and counselling you will be encouraged to talk and explore your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. Although this may be daunting, you have nothing to worry about in the safe and unconditionally accepting therapeutic environment.
My integrative approach psychotherapy is comprised of two separate methods:
- Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
In this treatment I will help you to make connections between the past and the present. Consequently, your renewed understanding of yourself will help you make decisions that allow you to become who you want to be. Instead of reminaing a victim of your past, you will be free to live your life as you want it to be.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
This treatment helps you to overcome problems by changing how you behave, think and develop helpful ideas. Due to its careful structure, it can be targeted at any particular problem you may have.
