Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
All of us at some point in our lives can have overwhelming, devastating and traumatic experiences that can cause a post-traumatic stress disorder. From being the victim of an assault or seeing an accident to extreme cases like experiencing a war situation at close quarters, it affects us all in different ways. Some people get over these experiences very quickly but for the majority of people, it can take a lot longer.
Causes and cure of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Traumatic experiences can cause post-traumatic stress disorder and complex PTSD, which can last for many years. Many of my clients report reliving the experience over and over again, having regular flashbacks, horrendous nightmares, physical symptoms such as sweating, and emotional reactions such as anxiety attacks, depression, anger, grief and stress. Post-traumatic stress disorder can often lead to addictions to drugs and alcohol if not treated. The good news is treatment will bring fast and lasting relief on the journey towards total recovery.
Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
